Gabriella Swerling is the Northern Correspondent for The Times. She joined the paper in 2014 and has worked mainly as a news reporter in London – with stints on the foreign and business desks. She also spent seven months reporting in Edinburgh for the Scottish edition of The Times where she was nominated for Young Journalist of the Year at the 2016 Scottish Press Awards. Prior to this, she worked as a news reporter for The Sun.
